I have been set a challenge, by my lovely niece Beccy who is the author of the wonderful blog https://beccywarrior.wordpress.com/ yesterday morning she sent me this message;
“With all the stuff on Facebook at the moment about Paris and the retaliation etc, it seems to me that this world needs MORE love and peace. And as warriors we know, like Ghandhi said, we have to be the change we wish to see. So our challenge is to BE peace. In whatever way we can find to do so. In our hearts, in our responses to others, in everything we post on Facebook, and in supporting each other to be that! What do you think shall we bring peace to the world?”
My response, a resounding YES! lets do this, lets do our own personal little bit towards bringing peace to the world. It would be easy to think that the little bit we can do won’t make a difference, but if everyone preformed one small act of peace that would be a huge step in the direction we want to head.
Bec and I are doing a mini-Warrior refresher course, we started it last week, she is sending back to me all the documents I wrote and sent out during the 90 days of the Warrior course, and so for my Warrior challenge and to remind me every day of my commitment to peace I am going to blog start blogging regularly.
I have been very fortunate in my life never to have lived through a war or been at the end of a gun or witnessed violence on this scale. I did however live for many years in a state of fear and anxiety because of domestic abuse within my own home. It feels perfectly fitting that the way to end any war, from world war, to domestic violence within the home, is with Love Peace and understanding. More anger blame and retaliation will never stop this cycle. So this is my commitment to being the change I want to see in the world in any way I can, trying not to turn away if the challenge gets difficult or be embarrassed if the things I do are tiny and seem insignificant.
What did this warrior do today as a conscious act of peace?
Stared this blog and committed to consciously looking in my life for anywhere it’s possible to be the change I’d like to see in the world.

Offered help to a friend to take a step towards fulfilling a dream. Happy fulfilled people don’t commit acts of violence, they spread peace and happiness.
